KATHARINA NUESSLER Peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2000, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Katie (Oma) passed away at the age of 74. Predeceased by her husband Rudolf and her son Claus; she is survived by her daughter Margit (Helmut) Kuklik and her sons, Bernhard, Rudi (Shirley), Guenter (Janice), Hans (Karin), Dieter (Cathy), Rainer (Donna). "Oma" will also be sadly missed by her 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Marianne (Karl) Van Meegeren and extended family in Germany. Aside from the devotion to her family, she found great joy in her friends and her faith. She loved to spend time at the cottage. He door was always open and her hospitality unending. Her warm heart and generous nature will be missed not only by her family, but also by her many friends. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, at 1:00 p.m. at the New Apostolic Church, 1755 Taylor Ave., followed by a reception there. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the NAC Sunday School Fund, in care of 1755 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg, Man., R3N 1Y2. With a loving heart and a willing hand, Tasks, great or small, for us you did them all. Many thanks for the years you gave us, And for all that we have shared, We only pray that when you had to leave us, You knew how much we cared. You suffered much in silence, And when a cure was not to be, God put His arms around you, And whispered, "Come to Me." Now free from pain, He gave you rest, His garden is now more beautiful, For He only takes the best.
